1. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are prepared from a site visit or from the information you supply and stay valid for 30 days. Ground conditions that could not reasonably be seen at quoting, such as rock, springs or buried services, may change the price. You will be told before extra work goes ahead.

2. Site access and services

You are responsible for confirming legal access to the site and for marking known private services. Public utility locates are arranged before digging where required.

3. Payment

Invoices are payable by the date shown on the invoice. For larger jobs a deposit or progress payments may be agreed before work starts.

4. Weather and delays

Earthworks depend on ground conditions. If weather makes the site unworkable or unsafe, work pauses and restarts as soon as conditions allow. You will be kept informed of any change to timing.

5. Workmanship

Work is carried out to the agreed scope in a tradesmanlike manner. Any concern raised promptly after completion will be inspected and put right where the work has not met the agreed standard.

6. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where it applies. Liability for indirect or consequential loss is excluded to the extent the law allows.
